We have the pleasure to inform you that the European Commission (DG EAC) will launch the University Business Cooperation Network (UBCN), an online platform for interested stakeholders to cooperate and exchange experiences and ideas on topics related to university-business cooperation.
This platform is meant to complement the "physical" University Business Forums as suggested by many participants during the Forums.
You will receive in the coming days a formal invitation - via Yammer - to join the network. We hope that you will join the platform and participate actively in the discussions. Besides being a platform for discussion and exchange, UBCN will also provide access to a number of valuable documents on university-business cooperation.
Please find enclosed the Yammer Quick Start Guide which gives you an overview of how to get started, and the Usage Policy, which defines the framework for participating in the network.
If you encounter any problems, including not receiving the official invitation to join the Network via Yammer latest by 20 January 2015, please do not hesitate to contact the network administrators:

We hope that this network will meet the expectations expressed by many Forum participants and help us to further strengthen the cooperation between higher education and companies.
